The 'sofita' — Greek for the attic — is the top floor kept for guests: beams, natural light, a compact charm. Two-bedroom, easy for a couple or a small family.

Thermal insulation and silent fans keep rooms comfortable with far less air-conditioning, and efficient inverter ACs run economically in both summer and winter — better for the stay, and for the island.

No vintage plates or serving utensils, no coloured dishware, no metallic rims, no coated pans — to minimise exposure to heavy metals and forever chemicals, which matters most for children.
